What Is Arm Lift Surgery?
The goal of arm lift surgery is to restore the shape and firmness of the upper arms by removing sagging tissue and excess skin and fat to improve the overall appearance of the arms. Patients who might be interested in arm lift surgery are those who have upper arm skin that sags or causes irritation. Typically, arm lift surgery requires an incision on the inner part of the upper arm. Some patients may only need a smaller incision in the armpit and down the upper arm a few inches. During your consultation, your surgeon will address your concerns and determine if arm lift surgery is right for you.
The Aesthetica Difference
At Aesthetica Plastic Surgery, our surgeons bring over 25 years of combined experience and have performed hundreds of arm lift procedures. Arm lift surgery requires a highly skilled and experienced surgeon to remove and reposition excess skin of the upper arms while preserving nerve function and minimizing visible incisions. Our surgeons’ refined artistic eye and extensive expertise in arm lift techniques ensure you can feel confident that your upper arms will be safely restored to a more youthful and contoured appearance.
Journey To Confidence
At your consultation, you will be able to discuss questions and review what you would like changed through surgery. Your surgeon will discuss the details of the procedure and create a surgical plan with you. Our office staff will provide you with a surgery quote and can help schedule a surgery date at that time.
You will have a pre-operative appointment three weeks prior to surgery. At this appointment, you will sign consents, discuss any last minute questions and concerns, and get further pre- and post-surgery instructions.
Your surgery will be performed at our accredited surgical facility in Lindon, Utah. The procedure typically lasts between 4 to 5 hours, and most patients are able to return home the same day.
Generally, you will be seen 1 to 3 days after surgery and again 4 to 5 days later. Further post operative appointments will continue and be dependent upon your recovery.
Recovery for arm lift procedure is generally 4-6 weeks of no lifting or exercising. Patients need to have their arms elevated at a 45 degree angle while resting for the first couple weeks. At Aesthetica, post operative care and safety is our number one priority. We see patients frequently after their procedure to assure healing and recovery is on track. Patients have 24 hour access to an on-call nurse for emergencies.
See the transformation, feel the relief from irritation and chafing, and regain confidence with your newly contoured arms after arm lift surgery.
Aesthetica Plastic Surgery Reviews
My overall experience with Dr. Crofts was Great he takes his time to explain everything and I am extremely happy with my results I did not feel like just a number with him or his staff. I would definitely refer Dr. Crofts to my friend's.
Dr. Crofts is fantastic and does beautiful work. Whether you are interacting with the receptionist, nurses, or Dr. Crofts himself, they are all very kind and personable. Post surgery, the staff is great to answer any questions and return phone calls in a timely manner. It was a great experience from beginning to end.
Dr. Croft and his office staff are very professional. They gave me a warm welcome and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. They answered all of my questions and went above and beyond helping me to make up my mind about what size implants I wanted and even showed me how to know what was the best fit for my body’s shape and size.Dr Croft even helped me to understand that having elective surgery is about having confidence in your body and how it can boost self esteem. In doing so, he helped to ease my feelings of guilt because I felt like I was being “vain” when so many live with disfiguring scars and birth defects. And upon my request, Dr. Croft even gave my husband and I a quick tour of the recovery room and even let us peek into the operating rooms. The tour made us feel even more comfortable with my upcoming procedure. With so much care and thoughtfulness that went into my initial consultation, I’m very much looking forward to my surgery and I have the utmost confidence in choosing Dr. Croft and his staff at Esthetica for my procedure.
